Mismonxstristes
Somewhere in Mexico, sometime in the 20th century
I think I have never evolved in a linear fashion. Sometimes I don’t know who I am, but I do know which stories I want to tell you and what I need to create to permeate our context. The anonymity is just a tool that lets me speak without appearances interposing.
My art consists in the fusion of references: scenarios that in my head become dreams and then are arranged in materials; ideas that my imagination creates but my hands pursue and achieve. Many times, it has been difficult to recognize what is real from what I imagine. This is the attempt to ascertain it.
Multidisciplinary art could be a good way to classify me, my areas of interest (and performance) are philosophy, literary creation, textile design, photography, publicity, painting and drawing.
